Hermes Agent implementation for Australian businesses

Put repeatable work on a capable, governed AI agent.

We design and deploy Hermes Agent by Nous Research around a defined business workflow. Where the selected setup supports them, we configure persistent memory, reusable skills, scheduled jobs and browser tools with clear permissions and human review.

  • Map the workflow, owner and approval boundaries before build
  • Configure only the memory, skills, schedules and tools the job needs
  • Test exceptions and hand your team an operating runbook

For established businesses with a real workflow, accountable owner and implementation budget. Not a DIY installation service.

Practical capabilities

Four capabilities, applied to one accountable workflow.

Hermes Agent is flexible. The commercial value comes from selecting a narrow job, controlling its access and making the result reviewable by your team.

Persistent memory

Retain approved context across sessions where it is genuinely useful. We define what may be remembered, who can access it and how the chosen memory backend affects your data path.

Reusable skills

Turn an agreed procedure into a reusable instruction set for the agent. Skills are tested against examples and exceptions; they do not replace the source policy or the process owner.

Scheduled jobs

Run defined checks, research or preparation steps on an agreed cadence. We plan inputs, output delivery, monitoring and what happens when a dependency fails or the result is uncertain.

Browser-assisted work

Use browser tools for approved research and web tasks where technically supported and permitted. Credentials, target sites and sensitive actions are constrained, with review gates where needed.

Strong-fit workflows

Best for recurring work with clear inputs and a responsible reviewer.

A useful first implementation is bounded enough to test, valuable enough to measure and owned by someone who can approve process decisions.

Document-heavy professional services

Gather approved source material, apply a repeatable checklist and prepare a structured working draft for qualified staff to verify.

Recurring research and monitoring

Check agreed sources on a schedule, organise findings and flag changes for a person to assess instead of promising autonomous judgement.

Internal operating procedures

Give teams a consistent starting point for repeatable tasks while preserving sign-off for financial, legal, compliance or customer-impacting decisions.

What implementation includes

A working system, not an unattended experiment.

Every engagement is scoped to the workflow and risk. We document the design so your business knows what the agent can do, what it cannot do and who remains accountable.

Discuss your workflow
  • Workflow and risk mapInputs, outputs, process owner, exceptions, prohibited actions and approval points.
  • Deployment designEnvironment, model/provider options, access boundaries and an honest view of operating dependencies.
  • Memory policy and configurationApproved context, backend choice, access and review settings appropriate to the use case.
  • Business-specific skillsReusable procedures built from your approved source material and tested on representative examples.
  • Schedules and failure handlingCadence, monitoring, retries, escalation and output review where scheduled execution is suitable.
  • Browser controlsApproved sites and accounts, credential handling, technical constraints and human gates for sensitive actions.
  • Testing, runbook and handoverAcceptance scenarios, operator guidance, limitations, maintenance plan and agreed managed support.

Delivery process

Start narrow, prove the workflow, then expand deliberately.

Scope

We review the current process, systems, data sensitivity, workload cadence and the result your team needs to approve.

Pilot

We configure a bounded version, test representative and failure cases, and record what still requires human judgement.

Roll out

After acceptance, we document operations, train the responsible users and monitor the agreed production workflow.

Business workflow review

Bring us one workflow worth improving.

Tell us what repeats, how often it happens and where the current process slows down. We will assess whether Hermes Agent is a sensible implementation path and what should remain under human control.

We do not promise a fully autonomous business. The goal is a controlled workflow your team can understand, supervise and improve.

Frequently asked questions

Before you scope a Hermes Agent project.

What is Hermes Agent?

Hermes Agent is an open-source AI agent project from Nous Research. Depending on the deployment and enabled tools, it can use persistent memory, reusable skills, scheduled jobs and browser automation. We scope and implement the relevant capabilities around a defined business workflow.

Is this just another chatbot?

Not in the projects we take on. A business implementation starts with a repeatable process, approved information, permissions, outputs and a responsible reviewer. Conversation can be an interface, but the operating workflow is the product.

Can Hermes Agent run business tasks on a schedule?

Hermes Agent supports scheduled jobs. We only enable schedules after defining inputs, outputs, failure handling, permissions and human review. Reliability also depends on the configured services and systems.

Can Hermes Agent use a browser?

Browser tools can be configured where the selected deployment supports them. Access is limited to approved tasks and accounts, and sensitive or irreversible actions should retain human approval. Website changes and third-party terms can affect automation.

Where is our business data stored?

That depends on the deployment, memory backend, model provider and connected systems selected for the project. We map the data path and configure access boundaries before rollout rather than claiming that data never leaves your environment.

Will every workflow use memory, skills, schedules and a browser?

No. We enable only what the approved workflow needs. For example, some work should not retain memory, some sites should not be automated and some processes are safer when started manually.

Is AI Agency Brisbane affiliated with Nous Research?

No. AI Agency Brisbane is an independent implementation provider and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Nous Research. Hermes Agent and related names belong to their respective owners.
